Costumes

For our kidnapper, we chose traditional Pakistani attire, a black shalwar kameez, and on top of this, we used a black jacket for the hood, but also because the weather was cold. The all black outfit is symbolic of his dark intentions and his mysterious character. He has minimal, very natural looking makeup, we wanted to keep it very light as his face is not visible throughout the film. This further adds to the sense of ambiguity. 

This is the protagonist, she wore a very simple outfit, reflecting how she was living a regular day when she was abducted. She had very heavy makeup of bruises which is better shown in the makeup and palette blog post.

These were the gang members, also wearing shalwar kameez, similar to the kidnapper's costume.
