Breakdown - Title

 

Originally, I had thought of making the title card a little different than the one we have now. I wanted there to be 2 puzzle pieces that fit into each other as the title appears, but that proved to be harder to design than I imagined. I chose the title "Missing Pieces" because I thought it was fitting for the opening. There was a lot of missing information and unanswered questions, like "who is the girl?" and "how did she get there", and after the last scene "What happened to her". Hence, there are a lot of missing pieces, where I got the title idea from. 

This is how the title appears, the words come from within each other, creating a sliced effect. It is sharp and sleek, and also fits the theme of the film as I colored one word red.
